CAR DRIVER FINED.
Error of Judgment Caused Boy’s Death. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 13. Ivor George Bryan, a motor-car tyre salesman, who was found guilty yesterday of negligent driving so as to cause the death of a boy of 14 years, was to-day fined £SO and ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution, £l3. Mr Justice Fair, in passing sentence, said he had taken into consideration the unusual circumstances. The accused had committed an error of judgment. His Honor said he had also taken into consideration the jury’s strong recommendation to mercy.
