HAPPY DAYS AT MT COOK
The clear, clean air of Mount Cook in winter, the warm sunshine, the cosy Hermitage and the spirit of good fellowship have ensured, happy, healthful days for many people in the Alpine Wonderland. Nowadays there is the additional thrill of well-organised winter sports, particularly the exhilarating exercise on ski. Even young boys and girls and men and -women past middle age can quickly gain skill on ski under the tuition of the well-known British champion, Mr Barry Caulfield, whose pleasant personality soon establishes confidence in beginners. The concessions in accommodation and the low combined rail and motor fares bring a joyful Morint Cook holiday v/ithin the means of large numbers of people.
