EXCHANGE RATE.
Maintenance Likely Till November 30. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. June 12 The exchange rate between London and New Zealand is likely to be maintained at least until November 30, according to further information received in Aucicland by cablegram ficm London. The cablegram is from the same source as that quoted yesterday, and ■was sent in response to a request for further details. The first message stated that “It is opinion there is no likelihood of anv alteration in exchange in the near future. Understand Government has signed agreement with banks for further six months.” The supplementary cablegram was that the anangement between the Government and the banks extends to November 30 and is subject to cancellation at any time by mutual agreement.
