TOUR BY AUSTRALIANS. “No Suggestion of Cancellation.” A contradiction of the cable message suggesting that the Australian hockey tour in New Zealand might be postponed was given by Mr W. H Down, secretary of the. New Zealand !lock'-y Association, last night. “ There is no suggestion whatever of tho tour being cancelled,” said M- town “ We asked Australia to play tee-t match at Dunedin on September J. and they refused to play the test s»n eanv in the tour. We are now arranging so play the test at a later date, and as soon as this arrangement has bee i completed we will communicate with Australia cnee again. There is no sugges tion of cancelling the tour, either by Australia or by New Zealand. ’
