FRIENDS OF ST GEORGE.

Bridge Party Organised for Funds. LARGE NUMBER OF PLAYERS. The Friends of St George have the interests of St George's Hospital very much at heart, and in countless ways do their part in the great work done by the hospital. Of late they have been devoting their energies to the organisation of a big bridge party, which was held yesterday afternoon in the Jellicoe Hall. Many friends, who were unable to help the good cause by personally attending the party, assisted in other ways. The platform was decorated with low bowls of chrysanthemums and the hall was comfortably heated, so that the players were considered in every possible way. As a result of the party a considerable sum will be handed over to the hospital funds.
