Thief Discloses Hiding Place. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 13. James Porter, who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a warder's home at the Waikeria Borstal Institute and stealing various articles, was sentenced to one year’s hard labour. It was stated in favour of the accused that among the articles were several sovereigns given to the warder's children as keepsakes, and that after his arrest the accused, hearing of this, confessed where he had hidden them.
