Relief workers to-day estimated that 2000 persons are dead in the vicinity of San Salvador alone following last week’s disastrous hurricane. The entire community of Ocotepheque (Honduras) have been destroyed and 500 persons have been drowned by a flood, stated a radiogram to the United Fruit headquarters today.
