FATE OF OLD HORSES.
Suggestion of Cruelty and
Misuse,
The fate of old trotting and galloping horses w 7 ag discussed by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at a meeting last night. Mr H. P. Bridge said that in manv cases horses had been sold and badlv treated. He thought the society should know what became of the horses.
Mrs A. L. Millington said they should have a rest home for herses in New Zealand, the same as in England. She thought a lot of people would support ifr.
It was decided that the inspector should prepare a report on the subject.
