RESTORATION OF CUTS.
Resolution Passed by P. & T. Officers’ Guild. A resolution congratulating the combined committee set up in Wellington on the manner in which it had submitted to the Government the case of the civil service for the restoration of the salary cuts was passed at the annual meeting of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Guild last evening. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: Chairman, Mr R. T. C. Roberts: committee, Messrs Patton, L. A. Burns. J. Wright, L. C. B. Loveridge, T. 11. Moffatt, F. G. T. Stubberfield, H. D. M'Leod, A. R. Watson, L. H. Caiman and H. J. Down; delegate to annual conference, Mr L. C. B. Loveridge; and secretary, Mr A. C. Lilburne.
