Incendiarism Suspected in Chicago Fire. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CHICAGO, May 20. Work was started to-day to rehabilitate the fire-stricken area. Throughout last night firemen continued to play water on the smouldering embers. A thorough search revealed that no one was killed, as was erroneously ’‘eported. However, at least 1500 persons suffered injuries of one sort or another, and 400, including scores of firemen, were severely burned. According to the latest estimates, the damage will exceed 10,000,000 dollars. The possibility of the conflagration having an incendiary origin is being investigated. One official commented that there had been labour difticult'es at the stock yards recently, but he made no specific charges.
