SUPPLIES OF MILK.
Prices Fixed by Auckland Council. Per Prcsf Association AUCKLAND, May 4. The Auckland Milk Council this morning, after a long discussion in which sectional interests were apparent, decided to fix the price of milk to the consumer at 5d for a quart loose and Sid bottled. Vendors may at their discretion supply relief workers with milk at 4d. The council also resolved to grant to the Hospital Board and other charitable institutions the right to contract for supplies at Is per gallon. It was further decided that the' producer shall receive 9d per gallon, and the vendor Sid, while 2«d was allocated for cartage and treatment.
