Mr Forbes on Coming Session. Per Press Association AUCKLAND. May 4. Thursday, June 28, has been fixed by Cabinet for the opening of the fourth session of the twenty-fourth Parliament of New Zealand, according to an announcement by the Prime Minister (Mr Forbes), on his arrival to-day. Mr Forbes said that, apart from dairy industry legislation, the programme would be normal. In reply to a question, Mr Forbes said that it was undecided whether there would be time to pass a Bill pro viding for the permanent establish’ment of four-yearly Parliaments in New Zealand. Probably it would be deferred till the final session. RETREAT AT ST BEDE’S. Old boys of St Bede’s College have been invited to attend a retreat at the college, beginning on the evening of Friday, May 18, and ending on the Sunday evening. The retreat will be conducted by the Rev Father Spillane S.M., of St Mary’s parish, Manchester Street.
