LEGALISING BETTING.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ALBANY, April 17. New York State will soon have legal betting at horse races for the first time in twenty-five years, as the Legislature has passed a Bill to that effect in an effort to revive sport. There has always been heavy bookmaking traffic, which has been more or less open, but illegal.
