“The Devil to Pay.”

An entertaining new double-feature programme will be presented at the Theatre Royal on Saturday. The major attraction will be the Ronald Colman success “ The Devil to Pay,” and this will be supported by the com-edy-drama “ Good-bye Again,” in which the leading roles are taken by Joan Blondell and Warner William. Ronald Colman, an aristocrat of the screen, has never been more charming than in “ The Devil to Pay,” Fi ederick Lonsdale’s first direct contribution to the screen. Lonsdale is well known as the author of “ The Last of Mrs Cheney,” “ On Approval,” and other delightful comedies. “ The Devil to Pay ” is briskly-paced, suavely directed and admirably acted; it is all that can be asked in high-class entertainment.
