Y.M.C.A. DIRECTORS.

The Y.M.C.A. Board of Directors met last evening, Mr D. E. Parton presiding. A special committee, consisting of Messrs D. E. Parton. G. F. Allen and J. \V. Hillary, was appointed to co-oper-ate with a special committee from the Y.W.C.A. in making preliminary arrangements for the street day to be held on July G. It was decided that, as Mr A. W. Beaven would be celebrating his jubilee in connection with the Y.M.C.A. Board of Directors in June, a president’s reception be held on which occasion arrangements would be made to recognise \lr Heaven's long association. In con ectlon with the appointment of officers Messrs K. G. Archer, S L. Partridge and H. W. Heslop were ap♦P'ffined a Nominations Committee. The Genera' Secretary reported that Mrs Stanley Wilkinson had been elected president of the Women’s Auxiliary, which was busy planning work for the A big membership campaign is to be begun in all branches of the association shortly, and the various groups were asked to appoint representatives to form a committee to organise the campaign.
