CLUB ENTRIES ACCEPTED.

Position of Rangers and Thistle Discussed. The acceptance or rejection of the Rangers and Thistle Clubs’ entries in the senior g.ade and senior and junior grades respectively was again discussed at length by the Management Committee of the Canterbury Football Association last evening. A motion that the entries be rejected, since the clubs had still failed t.o comply with the resolution regarding the entry of teams in the lower grades, did not find support. An amendment that a sub-cbmmittee confer with the two clubs was carried, but was not given effect to, after the honorary secretary (Mr R. B. Bunt) had explained that the clubs thoroughly understood the position. Finally, on the motion of Mr J. G. Parry, it was decided to accept unconditionally for this season the entries already received from these clubs.
