To-Day’s Recipe.

Ingredients: 6 teaspoons cocoa. 5 cups water. 1 cup condensed milk. 4 grains salt. 2 teaspoons castor sugar Method: Mix cocoa, sugar and salt together with a wooden spoop. Stir in water. Turn into a saucepan, and bring to the boil. Draw from fire and allow cocoa to subside, then bring to the boil again. Remove pan from fire. Stir in condensed milk. Return to fire, and bring to boiling point before serving. Enough for six persons.
