TRAFFIC CASES HEARD.

A number of traffic cases on behalf of the Christchurch City Council and the Waimairi County Council were brought before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. For driving without licenses. George Alexander Campbell, Reginald 11. Gibson and Ronald R. Elder were each fined 10s and costs. Frank William Brandt was fined 10s and costs for driving at a dangerous speed, and 5s without costs for not having a driver’s license. For driving an unlicensed heavy traffic vehicle, Charles James Dugan was fined £2 and costs. On a similar charge, Frederick Samuel Partridge was fined 10s and costs. / For cutting corners, George Hamilton and Cyril H. Stonyer were each fined 10s and costs. Samuel Farquhar was fined 10s and costs for turning to the right at an automatic signal. For driving at a dangerous speed, William Spencer was fined 10s and costs. Charged by the Waimairi County Council, Alfred Bunting, Edison Wilson Hardaker and Walter Hill were each fined 20s and costs for driving in a manner dangerous to the public. Hill was convicted and discharged for driving without a. license.
