H.M.S. Laburnum Has Been Re-commissioned. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 14. Following the departure of practically her whole ship s company for England this week, and the arrival of a new' draft by the Rangitata, H.M.S. Laburnum was recommissioned yesterday afternoon. The new draft, which was drawn from the Plymouth depot, consisted of three officers, one warrant officer and 83 petty officers and men. Commander A. H. Maxwell-Hyslop and two officers remain in the sloop from the last commission. The present ship’s company, it is expected. will eventually return to England in her when she is replaced by a modern vessel, probably next year. Lieutenant-Commander D. Ingram, in command of the draft, was until lately in command of a vessel of the sixth submarine flotilla at Portsmouth. Lieutenant A. R. Kennedy was last in the battleship Rodney, and Sub-Lieu-tenant D. Plerrick in the trawler Colne. Warrant-Officer S. C. Moon was in the destroyer Thanet.
