POOR HONEY CROP.
Higher Prices Expected to Rule This Year. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April IC. With a poor honey crop in many parts of the Dominion this season, merchants handling this commodity anticipate a substantial rise in prices when present stocks are exhausted. Bad weather in December and January is stated to be responsible for decreased production, and although some districts have not been adversely affected, it is expected that the current season’s crop as a whole will be a very light one.
