BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.
At a meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery to-day on behalf of the Public Questions committee, the Rev JJ. A. Allan read amendments to the Bible-in-Schools Bill, and moved that the Presbytery should express its support of the platform of the Bible-in-Schools League, and express approval of amendments to the Bill. After some discussion, the motion was carried.
