KARITANE GUINEA APPEAL
At a meeting of presidents of suburban sub-branches of the Plunket Society held to discuss ways and means of raising money for the special Karitane Hospital Guinea Appeal, it was decided that each branch should make an individual effort, rather than concentrate on a big combined effort. Donations have been received from the Cust, Dunsandel and Marshland sub-branches, in addition to several from individual members. The Woolston-Linwood branch will conduct a cake and produce stall in the groxmds of the Plunket rooms on Friday next, April 13.
