GOOD COMPANIONS CLUB
First Dance Held Proves Successful. MANY MEMBERS ATTEND, The efforts of members of the Good Companions’ Club met with success last evening when a dance was held in Miss Mary Menzies studio, Victoria Street. The club, which has been formed by a number of Rangi-Ruru Old Girls interested in French, meets once a month at the homes of different members, when various speakers deliver short addresses, plays are read, and the French language is spoken. Horth (president). Miss Sybil Corsbie (secretary), Faith Herdman, Doreen Hight, Mollie Dailey, Barbara Bloxam, Mavis Reese, Jean Eliott and Gwen Smyth.
