UNEMPLOYED WORKERS.
Officers -to be Elected This Evening. At a meeting of the Canterbury Unemployed Workers’ Association this evening, officers for the ensuing year will be elected. The position of president is being contested, the nominees being Messrs A. E. Armstrong and F. 11. Grant, but Messrs A. Blance and H. Macdonald will be elected unopposed to the positions of vice-president and secretary respectively. 1 There are fourteen nominees for the executive, on which nine positions are to be filled.
