ORGAN RECITAL.
■Or Bradshaw will give a recital of Elgar’s works at the Cathedral on 'i uursday next at 8 p.m. The Cathedral choir will sing two of the composer’s sacred works. The following is the programme:—Solemn Prelude, “ Sursum Corda,” Op. 11, for strings, brass and organ; Sonata for the Organ in G Major, Op. 28; (a) Allegro maestoso, (b) Allegretto, (c) Andante espressivo, <d) Presto; Prologue from the Oratorio, “ The Apostles.” “ The Spirit of the Lord is Upon Me,” Op. 49; (a) “Nimrod " from the Enigma Variations, Op. 36; (b) Canto Popolare, “In Moonlight,” from the overture, “ In the South,” Op. 50; two orchestral works, (a) Chanson de Nuit, (b) Chanson de Matin, Op. 15: Motet, “ Jesu, Word of God Incarnate,” Op. 2; Contrasts, The Gavotte, 1700 and 1900, Op. 10; Military March for full orchestra, ** Pomp and Circumstance,”
