RAILWAY EXCURSIONS.
To-morrow the winter timetable for the Timaru excursions will be reverted to, with only one train each way. The train from Christchurch will leave at 8.30 a.m., beginning the return journey at 4.50 pm. The train from Timaru will leave at 9 a.m., returning from Christchurch at 6 p.m. On the following Sunday the last excursion to Peel Forest will be run, the passengers travelling on the Timaru train to Orari.
