MENINGITIS IN INDIA.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, April 4. An epidemic of cerebro-spinal menin gitis is causing many deaths in Bombay. Devout Hindus declare that it is a visitation for the people’s sins and are now offering sacrifices and burning incense in the streets.
