HARRIERS MEET.
Baptist Club Reports Good Season. The most successful season the club has had was reviewed at the annual meeting of the Baptist Harrier Club last evening. Mr S. T- Barnett presided. Reviewing the year, the president congratulated those who had been responsible for the success achieved, but he considered that a good .deal more could have been done. More attention should be paid to training, which had been to a certain extent neglected. Officers Avere elected as follows: President, Mr K. G. Archer; vice-presi-dents, the-Rev J. E. Simpson, Mrs G. A. Dawson, Messrs S. T. Barnett. 11. S. E. North. E. G. Keats, T. E. Dench and R. M’Pherson; club captain, Mr G. S. Harrison; deputy club captain, Mr C. W. Bell; honorary secretary, Mr M. Montgomery, pro tern; honorary treasurer, Mr M. F. Foate; honorary auditor, Mr N. E. Miles; committee, Messrs C. E. Dawson and E. Bissett; selector and handicapper, Mr S. T. Barnett (subject to his consent). A suggestion made by Mr H. G.
Brown that a whipper-in should be appointed to each pack brought forward a further suggestion from the president for the more definite appointment of individual runners to their respective packs. At the Invitation of the president it was decided to hold the opening run from his home on April 14.
