Many people believe that their radio sets consume as much as two or three electric lights; this is not the case. Actually, the amount is far below that consumed by one electric light. You are not saving anything when you economise on radio. Reception for the past few nights has been wonderful. The other evening we listened to Sydney stations, which for a long time came in at amazing strength, free from static and fading. If this is a foretaste of the radio season ahead, then we're in for some real listening. Now that increased hours of broadcasting have become general, a home without radio is missing a great deal of pleasure. There is music in the air from early morning until late at night.
