4*. Christchurch Constable Wins Wrestling. SYDNEY, February 17 The police sports carnival, at the Showground, attracted mO-e than 30,000 spectators, who raw some fine displays. Golding, the Olympic champion, and two New Zealander*. Constables D. G. Simpson and J.
Thompson, both of Christchurch, were among the contestants. Golding lost hi* chance in the final of the 100yds event owing to a counle of breaks. The event was won easily in 10-ssec bv Masters from Roberts. The heavy-weight wrestling was won by D. G. Simpson
(New Zealand), who beat J. Reilly (New South Wales) with two straight falls.
