Ministerial Appointments Announced. CHANGES IN STAFFING. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON’, February 17. The Methodist Conference was continued to-day. The first draft of ministerial appointments for the current year was submitted by the Stationing Committee, and is subject to amendment before completion about a week hence. The following are the provisional appointments which disclose changes in the present staffing:— Auckland District. Auckland Central—The Rev G. H. Goodman, probationer, appointed assistant to the Rev W. Walker; the Rev F. H. Carr, probationer, replaces the Rev 11. W. Payne as fourth minister. Auckland West —Second minister, the Rev H. W. Payne replaces the Rev E. C. Leadlev. Otahuhu—A second one is wanted, replacing the Rev J. A. Dalglish. Ruawai—The Rev 11. J. Tozer replacing the Rev W. J. Court. Bay of Islands—The Rev G. Parker replacing the Rev J. C. Draper. Mongonui—The Rev A. J. Johnston replacing the Rev J. M. Blight. South Auckland District. Thames—The Rev T. Dent replacing the Rev A. Liversedge. Huntly—The Rev R. Day replacing the Rev J. W. Parker. Whakatane—The Rev C. E. Dickens replacing the Rev R. Day. Hauraki Plains—The Rev J. A. Dalglish replacing the Rev S. llindmarsh. Taranaki Wanganui District. Waitara—The home missionary is withdrawn, the second agent at Inglewood, the Rev J. M. Blight, replacing the Rev H. Utting. Eltham-Kaponga—New circuit; the Rev H. Spencer replacing the Rev- T. Coatsworth and the Rev J. R. Nelson. The Kaponga circuit is eliminated. Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu District. Napier—Second minister, the Rev J. John, replacing the Rev D. C. Alley. Gisborne—Second, a home missionary. Wairoa—The Rev- D. C. Alley replacing the Rev W. C. Jenkin. Pahiatua—The Rev N. P. Larsen replacing the Rev W. B. Pickering. Ashr.urst-Bunnythorpe—The Rev C. M. Roberts replacing the Rev R. E. Fordyce. Sanson-Rongotea—The Rev R. E. Fordyce replacing the late Rev P. J. Cossum. Wellington District. Wellington East—Second minister, the Rev H. C. Matthews, replacing the Rev M. A. M’Dowell. Johnsonviile-Ngaio—Second minister, the Rev W. E. Moore, replacing the Rev C. E. Dickens. Otaki—The Rev- J. Kendon replacing the late Rev J. Southern. Tai Tapu—The Rev C. A. Foston replacing the Rev N. P. Larsen. Rangiora—The Rev- T. Coatsworth replacing the Rev S. Henderson. South Canterbury District. Timaru—Third minister, the Rev W. C. Jenkin replacing the Rev T. H. Carr. Rakaia-Methven—One wanted, replacing the Rev K. A. Robinson. Otago-3outhl&nd District. Dunedin Trinity—The Rev C. H. Olds replacing the Rev 11. E. Bellhouse. Port Chalmers—Second minister, a home missionary replacing the Rev W. E. Moore. Kaitangata—Probationer, one wanted. Milton—The Rev M. A. M’Dowell replacing the Rev C. H. Kendon. Invercargill Central—The Rev E. B. Chambers replacing the Rev C. H. Olds. Riverton—Probationer, the Rev Wesley Parker. The Rev 11. E. Bellhouse is left without a circuit, at his own request. The Rev E. C. Leadlev is appointed to the Solomon Islands mission field, the ministerial personnel of that district being otherwise unchanged, except for the transfer of the Rev T. Dent to home work.
