HAS GOLF FEVER AGAIN.

Mr Lloyd George Suffers an Attack. LONDON, February 9. In one of his many terms as Prime Minister of France, M. Aristide Brian* 1 was defeated when he returned from an international conference, principally because he had spent an afternoon trying to learn a golf shot taught him by Mr Lloyd George. The French Press regarded this as much too frivolous in the midst of vital international discussions. Mr Lloyd. George himself has been too busy writing in the past six years to play the game, but during a recent, holiday in Portugal he found a pleasant course, and had a game. The fever re-entered his blood, and after that he was on the links every day. He has now decided to play regularly, and hopes to reduce his handicap. He has just been re-elected president of the Criccieth Club, which means he is a playing president.
