General inference—There is very little change in the situation. A shallow trough of low pressure lies north and south over New Zealand, and is moving very slowly eastward. An anti-cyclone covers the centra] and western Tasman Sea. Forecast—Moderate northerly winds, backing gradually to southerlies, and later freshening. The weather is cloudinsn over and rain is developing. Temperatures Cooler . to-morrow; some fog on the coast. Seas moderate.
