ROUND THE DANCES.

Ice-cream will be distributed at the Scottish Society's dance to-night. In addition a fan will ensure comfort for the dancers. Mrs Creagli’s orchestra will provide the music. Len Blogg’s hand will provide the music for the Athletes’ Dance Assembly, to be held in the Tudor to-night. Streamers and novelties will be distributed. On Tuesday night Buddy Smart's band will be In attendance at the Tudor. Old and new dances will be featured at the Orange Hall, Kaiapoi, to-night. Gopperth’s band will provide the music at the Red and White Dance Assembly in Buckett’s gymnasium tonight. A carnival dance will be held in, the Addington Workshops Social Hall on Tuesday. Novelties will be distributed. Lucky spots will be featured. On Tuesday the Union Jack Social and Motor Club will hold a masquerade carnival at Frascati. The HerdmanFisk band will provide the music for the dancing, which will continue from 8 till 1. _A dance will be held in Frascati tonight and on Monday night. The popular ninepenny old time dance will be held on Wednesday next at the Ferry Road Hall by the Christchurch Old-time Dance Assembly. Jackson's band will supply the music, and a waltzing competition will be decided. The Realm Assembly will take place this evening in the Sydenham Football Hall. The Evans-Campbell Band will provide the music. The final of the £2 2s quickstep will be decided. Icecream will be distributed, and the usual Monte Carlo and lucky number dances will take place. On Monday night, in the Caledonian Hall, the Select Old-time Dance Assembly will hold a one-o’clock night. The Lawrence Sisters and the Masked Singer will entertain. The EvansCampbell Band will be in attendance, and the gallery will be open for spectators. Next Wednesday, in the Sydenham Hall, the Realm Assembly will run till 1 a.m. The Evans-Campbell band will provide the music. To-night the Caledonian Select Assembly will hold their usual dance in the Caledonian Hall. A special feature will be a cash miniature Monte Carlo. Other features will be old and new dances - George Bradford will supply the music. Supper will be provided free. The Waltham School Ex-pupils’ Association is resuming its social activities next Wednesday by holding a dance at the Staretta Hall, Wilson’s Road, at 8 p.m.
