LATE MR J. B. HERRIOTT.

'I he sudden death, during the weekend, of Mr James Brady Herriott was greatly regretted by a large number of friends. Mr Herriott, who was born in St Albans, in 1875, had been in business in Wairarapa Terrace, Fendalton, for twenty years, and was keenly interested in the development of the district in which he lived. He received his training as a grocer under his father, Mr Hugh J. Herriott, Victoria Street. Mr Herriott, whose whole life was spent in Christchurch, leaves a widow, a son, and two daughters.
