TREATY WITH BRITAIN.
British Official Wireless. RUGBY, February 15. In the House of Lords, the Earl of Plymouth said that a treaty signed a few days ago between the British Resident Minister in Aden and the Imam of Yemen dealt with several matters which had caused friction for some vears. The treaty was for forty years and guaranteed the independence of the King of Yemen and the maintenance of peace and friendship between the contracting parties. Great credit, said Lord Plymouth, was due to the British Resident Minister for having at last negotiated the treaty.
