WHIPPET RACING.

New Zealand Club Reviews Year. The annual general meetiing of the New Zealand Whippet Racing Club wu held last evening, Mr J. R. D. Johns presiding over an attendance of thirty members. The annual report stated that the club had experienced another successful season, eight meetings having bean held, five at Bushey Park and three at New Brighton. The principal races had been won as follows:—Easter Cup, J. R. D. Johns's Charm; New Zealand Derby. V. Neales Tom Mix; Christchurch Handicap. L. J. Coxon’s Rossaway; Brighton Hurdles. G. Nankivells Master Roy; Winter Cup. J. R. D. Johns's Charm; New Zealand Championship. J. R. D. Johns's Charrn; Grand National Hurdles. G. Nankivell's Master Roy; Burwood Cup, L. J. Coxon’s Rossaway; New Zealand Cup. J. R. D. Johns's Charm; Canterbury Hurdles, Mrs J. Don’s Winning Glen; Dominion Han-* dicap, A. H. Martin's Tom Sawyer. The balance-sheet showed a turnover of £3lO 4s Sd. and a credit balance At the hank of £37 6s Sd. Five resignations were accepted, and eight new members were elected. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr J. R. D. Johns (re-elected); vice-president. Mr L. G. Radburnd; handicapper, Mr W. T. Rogers; honorary secretary and treasurer. Mrs F. E.
