At the monthly meeting of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children (Christchurch branch), the following members were present:—Mr C. R. N. Maekie (president), Mrs M. Emmett. Adjutant Wood, the Rev C. Perrv and the secretary. Miss Cardale. The secretary reported that 264 miscellaneous cases, 209 visits and 484 callers had been attended to since the last meeting.
