SEQUEL TO RAID
Father and Son Before the Court. Per press -U^sociation. INVERCARGILL, February 16. As a sequel to a recent raid at Dunsdale, William Alexander M’Rae, a farmer, and his son, William Robertson M’Rae, were charged with being concerned in the unlawful making of spirits. Hugh Cordery, Collector of Customs, said the country in which the still was found was practically impassable. The capacity of the still was about thirty gallons. The still was in complete working order, and the whisky wash was working. There are eleven Crown witnesses. The boy accused pleaded not guilty.
