METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Stationing Committee Representatives. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 16. The Methodist Conference appointed lay representatives to the Stationing Committee as follows:—Auckland District—Messrs E. H Burton and L. E. Rhodes. South Auckland—Messrs J. C Tietjens and J. T. Johnson. Taranaki-Wanganui—Messrs T. P. Hughson and E. Webb-Jones. Hawke’s Bay-Manawatu—Messrs H. R. French and W. Watson. Wellington—Messrs R. Hampton and J. M. Thompson. Nelson—Messrs J. S. White and T. W. Duff. North Canterbury—Messrs M. Kershaw and H. Chapman. South Canterbury—Mrs J. J. Hay. man and Mr H. H. Brown. Otago-Southland Messrs J. B. Shacklock and G. G. Crosbie. Solomon Islands Mission District— Mr W. S. M’Kay; extra representative, Mr B. J. Lynneberg (Wellington). The following candidates were received into the full work of the ministry:—The Revs J. M. Blight, C. E. Dickens, J. C. Draper, E. C. Leadley, M. A. M’Dowell, J. Wesley Parker. Upon his election as secretary of the Conference the Rev W. A. Burley relinquished his position as secretary of the Board of Examiners. A resolution expressing appreciation of his services was carried, and the Rev W. G. Slade was appointed to the vacancy. The Rev J, H. Haslam was appointed oral examiner of candidates for the ministry at the Conference in 1935. The Eltham and Kaponga Circuits were amalgamated, and GonviUe and Westmere constituted a separate Home Mission station. Mosgiel was constituted a separate Home Mission station. The Wakefield-Dovedale Home Mission station was raised to the status of a circuit.
