SUCCESSFUL PICNIC.

Over a hundred persons attended the mystery picnic arranged by the North Lin wood Burgesses’ Association, spending- an enjoyable day on Mr L. Wright’s property on the bank of the Waimakaliri. near Coutts Island. During the afternoon a hearty welcome was accorded to Mr and Mrs Wright, and thanks were extended to them for their generous offer of the use of the grounds.
