PLACED ON PROBATION.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 14. . Edward Grey Dickson, aged twentyfour, on six charges of forging and uttering cheques at Blenheim, appeared before the Chief Justice to-day and was placed on three years’ probation and ordered to pay the costs of the prosecution, £2 9s, within three months, and repay £39 los to persons defrauded, by twenty monthly instalments.
