NEW STEAMER.
U.S.S. Company to Build Vessel. SIMILAR TO RANGATIRA. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copy righ t. (Received February 15, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, February 14. The Union Steam Ship Company intends to order a vessel similar to the Rangatira, but with 6500 horse-power, single reduction turbines instead of a turbo-electric main installation.
It is the intention of the company to use the vessel for the inter-colonial service.
