WOMEN TOURISTS.
Party From England on
World Tour.
Five women tourists from England, who arrived from Wellington this morning, are making a round the world tour. Leaving England on November 15 they have visited Ceylon, Java, Bali and Sydney. They intend making a fairly thorough tour of New Zealand, commencing with the South Island. They will leave for Timaru to-morrow and visit Queenstown and the lakes district, aS well as the Hermitage, Mount Cook. The North Island will then be toured, and the party will return to England, via Panama. The members of the party are Meidames R. Lamartine-Yates, J. M. Macdonald (Merton), T. E. O’Brien (Westcliff), A. Copland (Colchester) and Miss M. C. Bennett (London). They are being conducted on their tour by Mr K. Gray, whose father is a principal of Edward Gray World Tours. Mr Gray, sen., is now with a touring party in Africa.
