RATIONING WORK.
Tramway Board Considering Men’s Proposals.
A report made by the Works and Traffic Committee to the Christchurch Tramway Board this afternoon stated that the committee was considering the request of the Tramway Employees’ Union that the rationing system now in operation should be extended in order to provide work for more men. The union, at a meeting recently decided to ask the board to agree to the adoption of that cotirse.
