INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL.
Pupils of St Albans Are Not Affected. Some of the parents of children attending the St Albans School are under the impression that the children in Standards V. and VI. will have to transfer to the new intermediate school at Shirley this year. That, however, is not the case. The headmaster of the St Albans School (Mr J. E. Thwaites) stated this morning that he had been approached by a number of parents who wanted to know if it was compulsory for their children to attend the new school. He had told them that there was no necessity for the change and that the St Albans School would carry on as in the past with a full complement of teachers.
