The Legion 's Object.
Dear Sirlt was with some little amusement that I read the remarks of your correspondent “ Legionary.” Here are a few fact?: Mr Howard is a member of the Labour Party and that party’s objective is Socialism. Socialism means a complete economic change in society and the end of capitalism. The Legion stands for the permanent perpetuation of Capitalism by force if necessary. Everybody that believes in Capitalism should be members of the Legion; they have no excuse for not supporting it; it means ultimately Capitalist dictatorship. Those who believe in Socialism will be obliged to do all in their power to destroy the Legion and all it stands for. Mr Howard realises this, hence his remarks about the Legion, “ Legionary’s ” funnvisms notwithstanding.—l am, etc., J. N. HARLE.
