AIR TRANSPORT.
Increase in Britain’s Letter Mail. LONDON, January 19. The weight of letters sent by air from Great Britain during 1933 was the largest recorded in any one year. It amounted to about 85 tons, com pared with 64 tons in 1932. There was also an increase of 18 per cent in the amount of parcels sent by air, 67 tons as against 57 tons in 1932.
