Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, January 2. The tenth round in the chess championship was commenced to-day. Dunlop v. Pihl. —A Two Knights Defence. Dunlop early in the game gave up a pawn, which he recovered. Later on he sacrificed a bishop, hut when recovering broke up Pihl’s game. On the twenty-fourth move Dunlop won a bishop and that in reality ended the game. Pihl resigned on the thirtyfirst move. (YMterda;’* results appear om Page 3)
