Five persons were injured at Mascot aerodrome when an aeroplane got out of control, ran into a crowd of sightseers and slightly damaged Sir Charles Kingsford Smith’s Percival Gull machThe Percival Gull plane mentioned was flown from England to Australia by Sir Charles Kingsford Smith in his recent record-breaking flight. It is a low-winged monoplane of the light sports type, and is equipped with a Napier six-cylinder engine.
